Companions:-
Patcham Companions was started in 2003 (called ‘Company’ at that time) to provide an opportunity for local residents to meet informally, make new friends and have some refreshments. We meet on Fridays between 2.30 and 4.30 year round apart from 2 week breaks around Christmas, Easter and the August bank holiday. Most people enjoy coming every week but it is up to you. You are welcome to drop in when you feel like it.  WHAT DO YOU DO?  Most Companions come for a chat and to make friends over a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits. Occasionally we have a visiting speaker or an entertainment and we have a stock of board games. We usually celebrate ‘Companions’ birthdays and have four special teas a year – Patcham Companions birthday, Christmas, Easter and a cream tea out in the summer. The atmosphere is always happy and friendly. WHO COMES?  As we meet during the working day most people are retired so realistically we currently cater for the 50+ age group. The majority come alone but some are couples. Companions have formed friendships which have lead them to meet at other local events and activities.  WE WOULD REALLY LIKE YOU TO JOIN US SOON - YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF A WARM WELCOME.
